Works best in spares

Added electric gauge kit to my stem and I can't stand dead gauges on my dash. I didn't want to drill and cut the air intake while it was on the car and didn't want to take it off again. This made it easier to install the sensor without much damage to the appearance.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • No mold required

I think all these adapters are in .

I think all these adapters are made in the same factory in China. I was lucky enough to get one with a decent sensor thread. Parentheses are useless; You should get a pair that is a bit larger as the ones that come with the kit are too small.

Pros
  • normal price
Cons
  • there are nuances

Fits perfectly. No leaks.

Used in the Ford Ranger upper radiator hose to hold the water temperature switch. Works great, no leaks even with the temp switch turned down. Measured the perfect 38mm around the ends. The temperature switch screws in easily and leak-free thanks to the standard Teflon tape around the threads. This item is a high quality piece that is finely crafted. Don't expect any problems. Very satisfied.

  • Sleek design

Great solution to a big problem

So we needed a reliable engine temp sensor on our truck when the stock temp gauge started sticking badly. Towing our trailer can put stress on the truck, so we can't afford not to have advance warning of overheating. I got a great temperature sensor from Revain, but the sensor portion was much smaller than the stock sensor in the engine block. In short, it was the perfect answer and now I can connect the new gauge and the stock gauge at the same time. As others have mentioned, it's a good idea…

but it's easy to forget how thick the radiator hoses are

Looks small in the hand but it's easy to forget how thick the radiator hoses are. A few notes: 1 - the hose clamps were a bit small for me, I had to go for a bigger one 2 - 38mm seems like the biggest you can get for these things but if it was available I would go for 40mm. .3 - I don't know if Revain is to blame (they get descriptions mixed up all the time of course) but the 38mm has a 3/8 NPT gauge hole, not 1/8. Which I don't care as I drilled it out anyway and put a 1.5mm 14mm sensor in it…

The product works, the company is stupid.

The product is fine. It's a piece of metal. Machining is a little sloppy so be prepared to grind down hanging metal parts if you don't want that in your engine and water pump. I think it's ok. If you install this, you should know how to fix their sloppy work. 2 stars mainly relate to the company. I had a few questions and the company seemed almost annoyed that I was a customer. You didn't even answer my questions. So if I had to buy again I would choose a different brand. I don't like…

  • Some loose change

Looks like surplus parts from an auction or something.

The item seems fine. Looks high quality. The package was opened and lightly beaten. But. I ordered the 34mm "silver" which often has a "fine finish", got an anodized electric blue in a much smaller size. Return request sent. After requesting a photo of the part I sent them one and they sent a replacement asap. It was amazing, but instead of anodizing or "milling" silver, I ended up with a blue 34mm piece that was silver sprayed. How do I know it was sprayed? The paint on the blue anodizing…

This worked great for me if your car doesn't have a temperature sensor.

I did great. However, I have found that all of these adapters appear to be made by the same factory as they all look the same except for the brand painted or engraved on the product. The only thing I didn't like was that the sensor dangled a bit when screwing it into the adapter, requiring teflon tape. I think they may have done it that way because you need to use duct tape to create a proper water seal. That's just my observation. Also, do not overtighten the sensor or you could damage the…

Ideal for adding a sensor to your coolant flow

This is a really handy item to add a threaded hole to your coolant hose. I have an application where I wanted to add an auxiliary electric fan. Unfortunately, there were no free threaded holes anywhere in the air intake cooling ducts. I was looking for a solution for a long time before I came across Revain. The device is quite compact and it's pretty easy to find it on the radiator hose to install it. The threaded screw is a nice feature that makes it easy to add a transmitter or temperature…
