Everything is fine. They're great for the price, but not for my purposes. I was given this at the suggestion of my midwife to collect colostrum at the end of my pregnancy and suction is limited. Sometimes when I point down to catch the drips the contents want to spill out and when that happens it's so frustrating because it's not an easy or quick process. Also, I was hoping to use once a day, with morning and evening extraction, but after morning extraction, the suction power is even worse and the piston doesn't like to move, not to mention the marks on the outside, so it is harder to say how much I've collected. Honestly I should have used a smaller syringe as collecting 5ml of colostrum every day seems unrealistic to me even after 2 weeks of starting this process. 1-2ml would probably serve my purposes better, so I won't put it on that portion, rather downgrading to 4 stars for lack of suction and draining of even thick contents (colostrum is very thick) when inverted. .
