We love this product as long as it lasts. I make polymer clay earrings and needed a pasta machine at the time and that helped. I cleaned the machine for the soul every time I used it so as not to accidentally mix the clay. A few days ago I sat down and started rolling clay and the plastic guards on the bottom of the rollers literally started cracking in the clay. I turned the car over and all the skid plates were cracked and ruined. The plastic just dried out and became so brittle. I have never used alcohol or anything that would damage the cleaning plastic. Baby wipes and paper towels only. Surprisingly, it only lasted 4 months.
