This was my first time trying Revel. I bought it in Erica's color because it looked really nice in some of the photos. I'm not new to homemade powder, I've used many brands. None of the brands I've used have been that difficult to work with. I stirred the powder and the pigment is still not fully mixed. Then, when it came time to apply, I tried the regular dipping method. It was spotted and striped. So I switched to the Fill method. Slightly better but absolutely zero suit payoff unless you do 4+ coats. I know it's a pure color, which is great, but there's a difference between a true transparent color and this one. This has a color payoff of zero. It was thick and difficult to file. I am so disappointed. No thanks, I'll be more supportive of small businesses.
