Please read the UPDATE at the bottom of the original review. Love it. Solidly built. Because of my job, I spend most of my year offline camping. This cable gets used and moved every day, powering my laptop, phone or whatever device I need, wherever I need it, and tearing down my solar powered box. I've been using it every day for several weeks and haven't had any problems. I'll probably take more. Recommend. UPDATE: I'm correcting my review. After using this device for about a month, I encountered a significant problem. The cable has a durable insulating coating that looks very nice at first glance. The end of the fork also seemed strong. But the end of the plug fits VERY tightly into the socket, which also looked good at first. Unfortunately, pulling the plug out of the socket turned out to be quite difficult. Like I said, at first it seemed like a good thing. But the other day when I was trying to unplug (and I've plugged this cord into at least 4 different outlets), my hand accidentally slipped off trying to unplug, an ant was pulling on the cord. The cable has no physical connection to the end of the connector, only friction held it in place. The insulation slipped off the end of the connector and on next use the wire attached to the center pin detached from that pin where it was soldered. I have to solder it back or I can replace it with another connector I have. I can always buy another one as it was a good price and the female end seems much more serviceable than the male end, but I felt it was my duty to report the issue.
