Looks can be deceiving

Easy to install. that does not work. return for a refund. Bought 2 Mediasonic USB 3.1 4 Bay cases for my 8 hard drives. As a reminder, these USB cases work but are slower than my $420 LSI SAS 9201-16I PCI card. Question: What to do with 22 hard drives? plus 2 SSD 1TB and 2 M.2 1TB. My ASUS WS Z390 PRO motherboard has 6 SATA ports: 4 for 2m.2 and 2 for SSD. 16 hard drives connected via LSI SAS 9201-16I.8, 4 TB connected via USB. I know 16 drives are obsolete, but none of them have bad sectors or SMART warnings. Is there a better solution than what I did?
