Pot! suitable for pots and pans

The pot is less than a year old. To be honest it worked great before. When cooking the steak, it broke open completely and hot oil spilled everywhere. Never dropped and cared for religiously. That's disappointing given the time it took to finally age well. Possible production error? I'll wait here back from the house.
