Although I had to get alterations, as I am a stickler for a good fit, overall the skirt was true to size. Unfortunately, previous comments were correct when they stated that the skirt smelled fishy. I thought burning a scented candle underneath would help, but it did not.I was so embarrassed when I wore it the first time. Boy, did that fishy odor kick in. Ladies this is not a good thing to have fishy odors permeating from your lower region. This might be a deal breaker for me, to wear it again.
