Great Heater: Context is Everything

I live in Minnesota. Land of cold tundra in winter. I bought this for my finished basement that has HVAC issues. There are supply air ducts in the ceiling, but the cold comes from the floor and pushes the heat down to the ground floor. I bought it to add warmth to a room (500 square meters). By bringing the heat closer to the floor, I wanted to raise the temperature in the room enough that the cold is driven away from the floor and the heat coming from the ceiling ducts can fall down and enter the room without rising to the ground floor with cold air. away so good. It does a good job of maintaining the temperature of the room and with a little notice it will warm up nicely from around 60 degrees to a hot 72. I'd say that's about the same time it takes a regular convection oven to fill a room this size. I recommend using the fan setting to fill the space and then lowering the settings to keep it running. Yes, the heater and fans make noise. Like all heating methods (fireplace, ventilation, radiators, wood stoves, etc.). I would say it shouldn't be too boring because again all heating methods generate noise. Simply turn off the fans once the desired temperature is reached. I would really recommend it to everyone. I fixed it on the wall and placed it in the middle as it blows the heat in 3 directions at the same time. Compared to other heating sources and methods, I would recommend it as supplemental heating for an entire room. any use. They tend to lack context, so you never know if their "good" rating means "good for you too." It just depends what you are looking for. So take the reviews here with a grain of salt. For example, if you say that it heats up the room quickly, it doesn't help anyone. Are you talking about a 600 square foot room or a 160 square foot room? Are you moving from 60 degrees to 70 degrees? Or are you trying to go from 50 to 75? Where do you live too? It makes a HUGE difference in your need for it. Saying it works fast won't help. Is it fast compared to the alternative? Faster than recirculation systems? radiator systems? Other heaters? If the room is too cold, it needs to be heated somehow. Any method you try will take time due to science and the laws of thermodynamics. Even forced ventilation takes time to heat up all the air in an entire room. This is a space heater. Not to be confused with "personal heating". There's a reason none of the vents face the front. He heats up a whole room especially for you. And no method of heating is instantaneous. It takes time to turn cold air into warm air. To be useful, it must be compared to something else. Also, saying it's "too loud" makes absolutely no sense. All heaters (and air conditioners are noisy). So is it too loud compared to what? Mouse? jet engine? Or, more importantly, compare it to an alternative heat source. That would actually be up-to-date information, because all heat sources will also make noise here. Even heatsinks pop as they expand and contract (that's noise).
