Smart design brings the weight of Google Wi-Fi to the outlet cover. Unlike other designs, the fork is not used to hold weight. Google WiFi is quite heavy, you don't want the plug to support the weight as it will fall out over time. The design of the base solves this problem. It should be noted that this design depends on the platen, which should have a ribbed profile. I had a vinyl pad and it couldn't support the holder tight enough. But the outlet cover is an easy and inexpensive replacement when needed. Since the Google Wifi plug is not used by the socket holder, your socket can easily use both socket plugs. Other holder designs may interfere with the second connector. This holder is a great, simple yet durable design. I never have to worry about this error and disabling Google WiFi. Highly recommended.
