I bought these skates for spring outdoor activities. I was very excited when I received them but there was snow on the ground so I had to resort to rolling in the basement. The wheels and bearings are of pretty poor quality and it was barely noticeable on the concrete floor of my basement, but once a dry day set in on the sidewalk it was unbearable. I spun the wheels for nothing, such a stubborn roll was for me. I was considering swapping out the wheels and bearings and that would cost more than the skates themselves. If I had decided to upgrade these skates would have cost me around $150-$175. At the end of my trial with these skates, I went to the only inline skate shop in the area and spent about $230 on a couple of sure-footed boardwalk stretches. Which upgrade is 3 times cheaper. And they weren't even the cheapest shoes in the store. Discover your brand if you want to take it seriously in a way I didn't even know when I started.
