Review on Hush Puppies Lexi Uniform Mary Girls' Shoes: The Perfect Flats for School by Jon Ashra

I was looking for a pair of inexpensive, quality leather flats that were comfortable to walk in and that had a strap. Keep the shoes in place - they fit the bill very well. They have non-slip soles although I wouldn't wear them in slippery conditions or uphill as they don't have enough traction for that. They weren't stiff at all upon arrival and didn't require much breaking in. I've run in it for hours, even up steep hills, and haven't had any issues so far. I received my normal size and they fit perfectly. In terms of styling, I wish the forefoot of the shoe was "a bit" lower to give it a slightly less youthful look in plus sizes. For my taste, the strap is too wide but uncomfortable. I would also prefer a real buckle rather than velcro - velcro adds too much bulk/thickness to the strap, besides not looking as pretty. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for mary jane shoes or preferring or needing flat straps so they don't fall off while walking (ie people with narrow feet).
