The screen works, but the magnets aren't strong enough to hold the screen when it's fully extended. There is a clamp used when you have 2 screens that I use to hold the monitor. Without them I would not be able to use the screen on the laptop. UPDATE: I increased my rating by one star after using this product for a few weeks. I love it and it does the job. The clip holds the screen in place for what I need and aside from the magnet issue, this second monitor was a good buy.
