Review on πŸ”Š Powerful Earthquake Sound Granite-52 Outdoor Speakers Transform Your Outdoor Audio Experience (Pair)" by Bryan Covington

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great in the short time it has worked

We bought this four years ago and it has worked great for about 2 months. The subwoofer started crackling and rattling and eventually just stopped making noise. I requested a repair which was provided but I had to pay $60 to have it shipped across the country. The worker came back (fixed, not replaced) but after about two months it broke again. I asked for help again but they told me this was not a warranty case. They made some recommendations, but no repairs were made. I opened up the subwoofer and found that the pieces on the motherboard were glued and zipped together, which isn't crazy, but I found that one of the pieces had snapped off the motherboard. Cardboard, despite glue/epoxy and bindings. If I stuffed enough plastic straws under the screed, I ended up with enough pressure to keep the subwoofer stable for about two months. corners, but of all the outdoor devices I've installed, this is the only one that has disappointed me. I am writing this review after so much time has passed as I had no plans to replace it any time soon. .Maybe I was just unlucky and got a bad one out of a bunch but for that much money I was expecting a better repair, a replacement or at least parts I could buy to fix it myself. This subwoofer sounded amazing when it worked. This added tremendous depth to our external sound. If it didn't break so often I would give it 6 out of 5 stars. But I just can't. TLDR: Great product in the works, but you're risking the overall quality. It might be better to buy some cheaper outdoor subwoofers and just swap them out if/when they break. I put all my eggs in this basket and regretted it in the end.
