These spoons are great right out of the box! However, I have to say that it's a bit of a struggle to keep up. They looked a bit dull after the first 2 uses, I don't have food grade mineral oil so after washing them with soap and water I hand dry them and put some Evoo on them and they are great again. Condition. I let them dry on the counter overnight and use them the next day. You have to do this every time you use them, it's a lot of work! I don't recommend if you are a busy person and don't have time for it. If you don't take the time to lubricate them, they will dull and crack within the first month.
