Great way to visualize time
We have a child with ADHD and bought these to help with time management. He loves timers and they seem to get the job done. I don't know if the time is accurate, but it's close enough that it doesn't matter. We associate tasks and chores with the time on the hourglass, and he commits to focusing on that task all the time. We used to be used to a digital timer, but visualizing the sand helps somehow. The bonus is that he really enjoys using them. They're small enough to fit neatly on his desk and are well made.
