We have had this set for 60 days and are giving it away as it is too late to return it. We have never put them in the dishwasher and have hand washed them since we have them. We also use felt liners to separate our pans. However, the enamel coating on the outside of the pans does break. As you can see in the picture, the pan will warp and push the oil to the edges even on low heat. Finally, we have other stainless steel pots with metal handles and have no problem with the handles getting hot to the touch. Silicone sleeves for the handles are a must with this set.
