My impression is that this instrument was made in England. That's exactly what the description says! However, when I received it, besides the convex bottom, I found that instruments of such low quality could not be made in England. The quality is on the bottom and I found I could buy the same poor quality tools made in China for less than half the price I paid for them! I recommend if you want to buy these quality tools, just buy them from Grizzly! At least they admit that almost all of their instruments are made in China or Taiwan! I am very disappointed that tools are being sold in such a scam these days!
