I love this beautiful teapot! This is definitely an upgrade from the traditional stovetop kettle. It glows and has blue lights, so it's interesting. I use bottled water because we have very hard water. I like the built in mesh filter just in case! The handle stays cool and the outside of the glass warms up but doesn't get very hot. It boils water very quickly, is reliable (I've owned it for two months and use it at least once almost every day). It has a volume of 1 liter and the minimum and maximum water levels are clearly marked on the side. Kettle. When you serve from it, the kettle detaches from the stand and you don't drag the cord behind you. Turning it on and off is very easy. and there's a built-in water boiling shut-off mechanism (so you don't have to worry about all your water drying out and the elements going bad). It's way faster than a microwave and I love using it because it's honestly powerful and fun! 1500 watts of pleasure! (I mean electricity!)
