Review on Maximize Comfort and Protection with Cleto Reyes Extra Padding Training Gloves by Robert Aliraqi

This is a poor quality product that starts to fall apart after only a month of use (so long that it can't be returned). The guy at my gym says he's had a pair of Cleto Reyes gloves for over a decade and they're the best in the world so I loved them. However I was a bit skeptical when they arrived as the logo looks cheaper than the white color on the product pictured. It also looks like part of the white skin on the thumbs is tinted with blue skin color and it looks messy. But I assumed they were handmade and was willing to ignore that if they worked. They were decent when I used them, a little uncomfortable feeling but they take a while to break in. My pair breaks before they even break in. The stitching is unraveling in a few places and the fabric lining the hand compartment has come loose and now I can feel the foam on my fingers which is very uncomfortable. I am very frustrated after paying a lot of money for a "professional" level product that is already falling apart. On the other hand, my $50 C2 gloves show no signs of wear after six months of heavy use. To be honest, given the praise from other boxers, I'm not entirely sure the gloves I received are the real Cleto Reyes. Maybe they just don't produce the same quality of gloves anymore. Either way, save yourself the money and the headache and stay away from them.
