DEFECTIVE GLOVE. do not buy

After a month of use the glove started to peel off. I paid 200€ for these gloves. My husband keeps them indoors to ensure the carnation is in good condition. I am very disappointed in this purchase. It was a present for my husband. I'm not sure if this glove is defective, but it would be nice if the manufacturer replaced it. I would not recommend buying.

Oh boy where do I start!

These gloves will be talked about for a long time. Everyone at my gym loves them and wants them to have them. They feel like clouds on my fist and hit like bricks. Speaking of which, there are rumors that some gyms won't allow this as they hit really hard. The logo is starting to fade but this is normal as I train 2 hours a day 5 days a week. Don't waste your money on $50-$80 gloves, just make a commitment and buy them! You won't regret it, I swear.

You can't go wrong with Cleto.

The best gloves I have ever used. Versatility 10/10. The gold standard for sparring. But beware: do not use them 100% on tightly packed heavy bags. Get paid for it. About 90% max. Feel free to go all out for lighter bags. I'm in good shape but recovering from a minor injury to my wrist and sagittal ligament from hitting too hard on super tight heavy bags. These gloves are very responsive. Provides good feedback after a shot to know how to diagnose and prevent sloppy technique from developing…

Cleto Reyes Training Gloves - BEST

I bought these gloves for $177 and initially thought they were a bit overpriced. After about 20 rounds of muay thai and boxing training I have to say these are the best gloves on the market today. I boxed in the US Marine Corps and US Army. I've trained with many other glove brands but they just don't measure up when it comes to quality construction. Cleto Reyes should be the industry standard by which all other gloves are measured. There's just no comparison. Fairtex is my favorite but still…

So I finally have some and holy shit!

So after buying almost every brand in the book for several years to find the right quality at an affordable price, my main choice was RDX. I work for Fight Factory and I've noticed that all pro boxers wear REYES. I was never willing to pay that kind of money but I knew it was good because of my reputation. I finally bought a pair because I thought after 2 years I deserved it. They are as good as the oppressed. I chose the white 14 oz and they are perfect. The handbox is tightly wrapped in wraps

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Not durable at all in the box

This is a poor quality product that starts to fall apart after only a month of use (so long that it can't be returned). The guy at my gym says he's had a pair of Cleto Reyes gloves for over a decade and they're the best in the world so I loved them. However I was a bit skeptical when they arrived as the logo looks cheaper than the white color on the product pictured. It also looks like part of the white skin on the thumbs is tinted with blue skin color and it looks messy. But I assumed they…

Hmmm interesting for boxing gloves

I've been boxing (accidentally) for more than ten years, never fought among amateurs because I'm in business and don't have time to devote to it. But I still fought crappy tough man-style boxing matches once a year. I've had boxing gloves from a variety of brands over the years: Title, Everlast, Offbrand, etc. These are the most dense and compact 16 ounce boxing gloves I've ever owned. They weren't joking when they said they were "punch gloves". It's hard to get to and I'm not a tall guy (5ft…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Grape color (like Barney's Purple) is the old style at 14 oz while the new Purple is a very dark plum color. If you are ordering this specifically because you can't find Barney's Purple anywhere else, please check with the seller before making a purchase to ensure the color shown on the listing actually matches the color you will receive. I bought the exact same 14oz pair on eBay from a similar type of seller with the same listing picture and had the exact same issue so apparently the factory…
