Review on Maximize Comfort and Protection with Cleto Reyes Extra Padding Training Gloves by Joseph Mannasseh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The purple color in the Revain image is not purple; Otherwise the gloves are great.

Grape color (like Barney's Purple) is the old style at 14 oz while the new Purple is a very dark plum color. If you are ordering this specifically because you can't find Barney's Purple anywhere else, please check with the seller before making a purchase to ensure the color shown on the listing actually matches the color you will receive. I bought the exact same 14oz pair on eBay from a similar type of seller with the same listing picture and had the exact same issue so apparently the factory is making a new version in purple which anyone sending the product may not be knows. the purple color version shown in many ads. In the picture I've included, the pair on the left is what I received when I purchased the color "purple" through this listing. The glove on the right is the color shown in the ad (and it's one of my 12oz pairs). So once you get the color issue right, women won't be writing many reviews on these gloves. So if you can stand on the fence, there are a few points to consider. I've been using Everlast pink gloves for almost a decade and each lasted about 2 years with 5-7 hour sessions per week. Now my hands are a bit dirty so I couldn't decide whether to buy these Cleto Reyes gloves or a pair of Winnings which are really good for people with injured hands because it's like dealing with a very beat beautiful, very expensive and fluffy pillow. Since I couldn't decide, I bought both: the burgundy color I wanted from Cleto Reyes came from another location (and 12oz, not 14oz), and the purple Winning from Revain. At first I read a lot of reviews, but until I had a chance to put gloves on, the reviews weren't very helpful. The best thing I can say about the Cleto Reyes gloves is that they are very comfortable for punching bags and people. They produce some really awesome punches on the pocket and when you spar you feel the punches combine in a way a softer glove doesn't. If you don't have injured hands and have been exercising for a while, these gloves will make you smile the first time you put them on and maybe giggle a little with delight. I haven't had any issues with the other thumb placements I've read about either, although that's another reason it's good to try before you buy if possible. That being said if you are new to the sport. , using these gloves throughout your practice is a great way to avoid injuring your hands. When you've been training for a while and your hands are a bit confused, it's difficult to remove them and use a softer glove for longer training sessions, but your hands will thank you. Depending on how hard you train in the gym, these gloves are either great if you don't like your training partners, or unnecessarily painful for the people you save with, especially if you're training for a fight and going 70-80%. . It's like hitting a beautifully colored leather-covered rock. If you're fighting them, you should still use them, but let someone wearing them hit you first so you know what the difference feels like. Get this color and you will be very upset when you open the box. That's the only reason I took the rating off the star. If you happen to be the woman buying these gloves, read the reviews, try them on first if you can, and don't listen to anyone who has an opinion on whether buying "boxing gloves" will get you makes you look cooler. With the right technique, you can just as easily KO someone with a pillow. bend your fingers after a few years.
