Good deal for your money if you need a cheap webcam to get the job done.

It was quite difficult to find a decent webcam as the demand for it was very high, so I was happy to try this camera and receive a full refund (free) in exchange for my review. Here. That's what I paid for, a cheap webcam. Pros: 1. This is a solid camera so I'm not afraid of it breaking.2. The lens is pushed backwards, so there is less chance of scratches or marks when handling. Preforms decently in low light.4. Has an extremely wide viewing angle. (for or against. take a picture)5. Both the camera and the video camera do their job well. If you don't have high expectations or need something premium, this camera is for you.6. The microphone works as advertised. When playing the recording, I didn't notice any muffling or smearing of the voice. Cons: 1. It's too heavy. Most monitors these days are thin, so their weight makes them difficult to balance and place safely.2. It has a hook that should keep it on the screen. This made him very unstable and I couldn't get him to stay. Again not quite suitable for a thin monitor. I ended up having to put it on the box to use it.3. All colors are wrong. Blue and green are too strong. Compare low and normal light images to see the difference. The dim light seems to reduce the effect, but I can hardly sit in the dark every time I need to use the webcam.4. For some reason it creates the look of a fish lens. I have a feeling it has to do with trying to get a wide angle shot. I personally would prefer a smaller but undistorted field of view. I don't like the wide viewing angle as it makes it almost impossible to be the center of attention. It captures too much background.5. This model does not have a protective cover. You'll have to shell out another $10 or more to get this. Seems awfully cool for something that comes standard with most webcams.6. It's very hard to see the blue light that indicates it's on, and combined with the lack of a protective case, it makes me nervous. Small but annoying. For some reason the camera seems to be tilted slightly to the right. Not sure why. It doesn't look damaged in any way and I can't say it's a design flaw, but if I had seen it in person before buying I wouldn't. He probably tilts the camera angle slightly. Overall I have no issues using this camera for my kids at school, but if I were to use it in a professional setting I wouldn't. It gets the job done, looks sturdy, and has decent image resolution. Good deal for your money if you need a cheap webcam to get the job done.
