I ordered these pots as a gift for my daughter who lives in another city. I have the same set (pictured) and love them. Unbeknownst to me, it has flaws and the side handles get dangerously hot. It wasn't until I visited her home, used her myself, and nearly dropped a pot of boiling water that I realized. I tried to contact a company in the US and Canada and was redirected to an Italian website that would never accept my message. I am so disappointed in the lack of customer service. If you buy a set and the handles get hot, return it immediately. This must not be and is dangerous! In the photo above, I'm back with my pot set, which has no defects. The handles are safe to touch.
