Review on 🐾 Hagen Living World Pet Carrier by Lorenzo Moulton

I need to take my conure to have his claws clipped and needed a way to get him there safely. I wasn't thrilled with the available bird carriers, especially since many of them are very expensive. It's the perfect size and should help. I put some blankets in there and let him play in it with the lid closed to make him more comfortable and so far so good. It's definitely the right size for a guinea pig or small rabbit and will probably fit those critters better. I think a guinea pig will fit comfortably. This is not recommended/not done for birds but should be fine for travel to and from the vet. The main downside to using this bird carrier is that it is made of plastic and larger birds will EASILY chew on plastic. The slotted plastic surrounding the top half is incredibly attractive to him, and he's already made a beak mark there, so I'll probably need to reinforce the inside with metal mesh or something to keep him from chewing his way out. BUT I love the size and design of this carrier so much that I'm willing to do a little more to make it more secure. If it's useful and I'll add a grid I'll post a photo. I am very happy with this purchase. The size is excellent. The price is great. The construction feels solid and should last for years (until I let it chew on the plastic). I was pleasantly surprised when I received and assembled it. For only $14 I got a solid little stretcher.
