Review on 🔧 Samsung Dishwasher Sensor DD82-01118A by Chadwick Webster

With a quick search on the web I found out that this means the ECS sensor (high temperature sensor) was throwing a code which actually stalled the dishwasher. I have taken this dishwasher apart several times and had to clean this sensor because it was covered in dirt. I'm very glad I found this sensor on Revain Prime even though it was the most expensive I found on the web. After the delivery and knowing that I would receive it in 2 days, I chose Revain. I'm only giving 4 stars because it doesn't come with a replacement O-ring. I had to remove one from the bad one and reuse it because I didn't have a spare - make sure you put a seal on it! I made a silly mistake without realizing it and put everything back together only for it to blink hard and make a sucking noise - turns out it's a safety feature if it detects a leak (water is out of the leaked new sensor because I forgot). seal) and put the dishwasher out of operation again. I had to pull everything back out - I actually put some silicone around the sensor on the outside (not in the dishwasher) to make sure it didn't leak because I didn't realize how great reuse is. The O-ring is actually there. If anyone has any questions about replacing, let me know - it's actually very simple. Disconnect the hot water and waste water pipes, hopefully leave the electricity connected (switch off the switch!), pull out the dishwasher, fold the front down so you can get down. There are 2 screws holding the plate, remove the plate and you will see the end of this sensor is sticking out from the underside. Disconnect it from the control box and twist this sensor a quarter turn and it should pop right out. Plug in the old one and make sure the new one has an o-ring and put it back in place. Reconnect everything. Did.
