A bit bare and exposed for a table clock; I had to 'dress' it up a bit

I ordered this watch because it LOOKS like metallic gray and light wood as in the Picture frame clock, were part of the clock. They're not, they're just a background for the clock. This part was disappointing as you get a metal plate with the clock markers and the movements - hands on the front and a small box on the back for the movement and battery. There was a good watch stand, but anything that came in contact with hands caused serious problems, with a high likelihood of damage from repeated contact with larger, heavier, and less fragile items. I wanted a clock for my hallway table. , and it is "too fragile and open" for that. (It wouldn't have survived on my desk anyway.) I had to find a 6x6 shadow box to frame it and make room for my hands behind the protective glass. This worked very well; The clock stood in the slot where the original substrate was - now the substrate is not needed - and the frame went to the stand that came with the clock. having a good time. This is a personal matter and not really a criticism, but IMHO the fun of this watch is that all the numbers are dumped in the bottom right corner - and for that I would leave the numbers blank for a very good reason. Not sure why there are "spare" numbers, I wouldn't put them.

Pros
  • Dimensions (inches): 6 H x 6 W x 1/16 D
Cons
  • Not Automatic
