Received the rods early, was very excited! I opened it and found I had ordered the wrong set. Instead of sending them back I decided to make them work. I ordered new risers for my Roadking and got to work. 5 hours stretched the gas cable. I recommend the shrink method as the tape will not bend. I also coated the inside with WD40 and also smeared some red grease on the line. Keep in mind this was my third attempt at gas. It took about an hour. I had to leave the cruise control wires open because I couldn't get them through the grille due to length issues. You will also learn how to disassemble original Harley plugs - this is the only way to route a throttle cable into the handlebars! Besides, if they toured alongside RK, it would be easy. Due to the way the chrome bracket is fitted around the headlight, there is not enough clearance for the brake line. You need to raise the bars all the way forward, bring the front end together, and then slowly pull the bars back. Overall I am very happy with the bars. Just know that with any aftermarket you should be able to find workarounds.
