Do not order this product! These are fake cotton paper pills like crazy. This is NOT 100% cotton. I would give zero stars if I could just for that lie. The price of 100% cotton paper seemed good to be true, and it turns out it was. I was trying to save money by not buying 100% cotton Arches paper. That's why I'm writing this - to save other artists like me who have very little money for art supplies from making the same mistake I made in buying these things thinking it was a good deal. I've been working with all-cotton paper for decades and know its properties. Again, this paper is NOT 100% cotton or performs the same as any higher quality mixed media pad that contains wood pulp. Because it has pills and water just sitting on the surface. When I buy paper that isn't 100% cotton I'm prepared, which is why using this product has been such a disappointment. Revain's customer service regarding returns was also strange. They are generally considered to be very customer-friendly. But this experience only made me stronger that I should buy from my mom and the pop art store even if their products cost more. I don't want to support a two-sided company that sells a product that claims it isn't what it isn't. I work wet on wet and every 100% cotton paper I've used can withstand multiple soaking, rewetting and multiple washings and maintain surface integrity. This material will bead up once the water collects a little on the surface, and if you brush the surface even lightly (which you can't avoid by trying to get the surface to accept the medium) some pieces will break from the surface and get stuck there. In addition, this paper does not absorb water like 100% cotton paper. Save your money! and buy real paper - Arches or Fabriano or another trusted paper brand. Or expect that paper to roll and perform poorly overall.
