I've only been using this for a few weeks (I swim every day) and am particularly pleased with a) the material b) the comfortable fit c) sun protection and d) how easy it is to put on and take off , without hanging on my hair, like very tight rubber products. I bought this primarily for sun protection as I have damaged follicles (going bald) and was uncomfortable swimming in the sun in Florida with only sunscreen on. Thanks to a review from another Revain buyer who bought for the same reason, I decided to pay a little more for this one (not that expensive, but you can find products at lower prices). So far I'm very happy I did it. While I think there are hats out there that protect the ears and hair on the back of the head better, this one is so comfortable I even forget I'm wearing it. As for the review saying it smells, I haven't had that experience yet, but I follow their instructions and wash my face with cold water after every use. The storage tube's "selling point" is pretty silly, I'd rather put it in my swim trunks pocket until I wash it at home. But maybe you can find a use for it. In general I'm very satisfied, and if for some reason something changes, ie it won't last or last, I'll update this review. For now it protects my scalp from the scorching sun and my dermatologist will be very happy.
