This beanie's material is comfortable as it doesn't tangle in your hair like some hats. so it's easy to turn on and off, very nice. I took off a star because I found I had to wash the hat weekly or every two weeks or it started to smell. but that's a minor complaint - in general I like it. Oh one more thing, it won't keep your hair completely dry, but neither will in my experience.

I bought this because I had limited shoulder movement and the 'rubber' cap was too difficult to put on. Since I don't have a lot of hair anymore, I mainly used this hat as sun protection while swimming. This cap is very easy to put on, fits well, stays in place. I've been using it 4 to 5 times a week since March and it's very durable and doesn't wear out. This hat exceeded all my expectations.

I was a little worried this wouldn't cover my ears which I need to keep the earbuds in my ears but it is. I'm a 5'10" female with a medium sized head. It's very easy to put on as it doesn't stick together like latex caps and is comfortable to wear. Can't comment on longevity yet, but I've been swimming for the past few weeks (2-3 times a week) and when I'm done swimming in a bathing suit.

Although the material was a great color and looked like it would hold up well, I couldn't get it on my head. If I were a kid, I would love it. I have a big head for a woman but I couldn't even put it on a silicone cap. I was planning on using this so boats and other people could see me swimming in open water by wearing it over my standard black silicone cap, but will continue to look at other options.

I have a hard time keeping my swim cap in the pool or in the sea. (? Do I have a big head?) This one has an elastic band to keep it in place. It helps keep you warm. If you are a very competitive swimmer this may not be as comfortable as some more fitted caps. You never stay on top of me. I use this in the pool. If they were bright yellow or green I would wear them in sea water. Silver doesn't stand out in the ocean like other colors. But the pool works great.

The first thing you should know is that this cap is leaking. So if you want your hair to be chlorine free, this won't work. For me, the problem is not in that, but in the smell.
