Review on Replacement KitchenAid Mixers，Polished Attachments Accessories Kitchen & Dining by Jessie Wright

My wife put the standard Kitchen Aid metal spatula in the dishwasher and it turned out to be corroded (Kitchen Aid, WTF?!?) . I could take a sponge and wipe the rust off the surface of the paddle. Since it could really ruin anything we mixed with it, I went looking for a stainless steel replacement and this spatula worked just fine for me. It fits well, if a little looser than a standard paddle, and is easy to clean. It is slightly heavier than a standard paddle. But for the things we use it seems to work fine and the motor doesn't swear so far (no weird noises). It's slightly shorter (1/8 inch) than a standard spatula, leaving slightly more food at the bottom of the mixing bowl when mixing compared to a standard spatula. For us this is not a problem.
