Love these lights. I hung them in a closed unheated entrance. They are much more profitable than tying up a bunch of Christmas lights. An equivalent length of Christmas twine would cost around $80, but since they're LED I don't think they're going to burn out like these little Christmas bulbs. The remote only seems to work when it wants to, but that's okay because that's the feature I was least worried about. Edited to add: the remote works much better if you point it directly at the round transparent receiver thingy next to the connector. We hid it behind a chair so it wouldn't pick up the signal.
