It was very easy to follow the instructions by tearing the old mirror off the bracket. The connector for the arrow and 2 wires for the heating element are disconnected. The $ pin connector inserts easily and fits well. The two heater element spades will likely need to be clamped with pliers to hold them to the new mirror. Generally not a bad mirror for the money. However, there is a very slight, I mean slight, distortion of the image in the mirror, nothing so bad that you can't live with it. Also, as others have said, there is an increase in objects in the mirror that don't exactly match the factory mirror on the passenger side, but are definitely noticeable. Again, none of these conditions will stop me from buying this again as I don't think there are others on the market that are reasonably priced that exactly match the original equipment.
