New non-standard design

This is my second Breville Pixie and I wasn't aware that the company had redesigned the model for 2021. The new design has significant disadvantages. I've had it for two months now and wish I'd returned it within the first 30 days. First, the power switch was removed. In the name of streamlining, two-sized buttons are said to control eating, cupping and cleaning functions. For example, you have to press both buttons to turn on the machine and you have to hold the buttons for a few seconds to clean the machine. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it fails and a very quick press puts the machine into cleaning mode. One of the best features of the old machine was a series of status LEDs that turned white when the machine was brewing and red when the water ran out. Those LEDs are gone, and with the small water tank at the back of the machine, you either have to pull it out from under the cabinet and look at the tank before each brew to make sure you have enough water to drink, or wait. the water runs out without warning. Those low level LEDs were definitely a nice feature on my first model. Speaking of the water pump, it's just as noisy as before and still powerful, but now it often leaks without rhyme or reason. Sometimes my cup tray fills up with water after a shot or two. Sometimes I get 10 shots without a single extra drop in the swamp. My first model is on my desktop, it's five years old and it still works as well as the day I bought it. I bought a new one for my house and I'll be surprised if it lasts more than a year or two. Bring back a better, more solid design!
