Review on AQUA CREST Compatible Fluoride Arsenic by Walter Velasquez

I see a lot of comments about the water not tasting right etc. Make sure to fill those filters in first. You take the brown "washers" (pictured above) and bring them to the faucet until the water runs clear. They run water through both ends, and to be safe, I run water back in the direction the water is flowing through. These fluorine filters are attached to the black filter, that's important. Again it comes with a pretty good picture/diagram note (picture above). My only complaint is that he says to wash it with a "blue cap". I ordered two sets of two filters, neither of which came with the "blue cap". Most of the photos are about it. When I ordered them through Berkey, they came with a lid. However, since I use castile soap, I've successfully washed them without the blue cap and found them to be fine. I think it doesn't matter much if you wash it and then run water for some time to rinse it thoroughly. However, since the product is not as advertised, I'm giving it 4 stars. Finally, the blue cap doesn't really matter, it just bothers me that it says it's there and it's not. Overall this product is good and will save you money compared to buying from Berkeys. I find Berkey's customer service pretty poor, so I didn't feel the need to stay loyal to the brand. In addition, they have long since sold out at Berkey. So I decided that something is better than nothing. However, these work perfectly.
