We had an old version here at work with a toggle switch and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get a proper connection between the older one (firmware version 2.1) and this is newer (firmware version 4.0) but it synced and worked like clockwork. I'm wondering why we've already lost the old version as it's only been installed for a little over a year. Simply put, I was blinking at FX the whole time. It just didn't connect anymore. Swapped it for a new one and it worked. -1 star for the lifespan of the original despite being an older firmware model. Essentially the same product. At the same time a good price. We use them to run fiber between buildings for two separate networks: the corporate network and the computer network.
