Unbeknownst to my son, he scratches his skin at night while he sleeps. It got so bad that he was covered in scabs that didn't get a chance to heal as he kept scratching them. Those sleeves saved his skin. I liberally moistened his skin with cream and put it on and then put on a short-sleeved shirt. Within a few weeks I noticed his skin had cleared up and the nice thing about these sleeves is that the arm area is made out of a soft, silky material so even if they tried to scratch it it didn't do much damage. , my son was against wearing these but after a while he got used to it.
