RJ-9 connector sucks
First it worked, then randomly. I'm using Windows 10. I thought it was the USB serial driver that doesn't work well with the USB DB9 serial cable. I spent many hours troubleshooting and then found that the RJ-9 was not working. I can't wait to get a good connection to my NexStar 8SE so I ordered some RJ-9 connectors and will fix the cable myself. It is best to make your own serial cable. I've done this in the past but couldn't find it so I'm ordering this one. Big mistake, their quality control is poor.
