Scrap tilted a few degrees

Inkbird C206 purchased, worked fine except for some totally incomprehensible (and erratic) behavior where you had to 'trick' it to turn it on or off for 1/2 time by changing the settings. 1 year later and the probe is out so I buy another one. Now it's permanently off by a few degrees and unusable. Unfortunately, I bought 2 of these sensors at the time.
