Fits perfectly. On engines,

We needed this because both of the front door lock solenoids on our Tahoe have failed. We locked it by hand but it was tight. If I open the door to clean the latch, I might as well replace the solenoids. There are negative reviews that they are not strong enough. They are very strong. Most likely, the locking mechanism is jammed. It needs to be cleaned and oiled. It will not fix neglect in other parts. The stop bar should move easily. If not, fix the problem. You will need to flip the brace to adjust for side and position. Our OEM solenoids had the bracket sticking down. Simply pull out the 4 7mm screws, align and reinsert. They have a tab on the electrical connector that is not compatible with the OEM wiring harness. I just removed them with a drill. There weren't any screws. I used #8 1/2" screws. They are difficult to insert if the back is not visible. I put a nut on to secure the screw to the bracket. I had to add another nut and tighten. There's room to play with the solenoids so moving them 1/8" won't affect performance. I'll be ordering them again if the lock's solenoids fail in another 20 years.
