Review on 🐙 CoralVue Octopus BH-2000 Aquarium Filter with External 2000 Pump - Ideal for 125-Gallon Tanks by Yasmine Gulywasz

Have a skimmer and really wanted to operate it. Given the mixed reviews, I was a bit skeptical. The other skimmer I considered was the Aqua Maxx which had good reviews. I unpacked the filter and immediately noticed parts were missing. I already knew the building instructions didn't match other reviews, but I found a YouTube video that helped me. After watching the video, I quickly noticed that there is no screw/plug on the top of the pump, meaning there is no way to connect it to the appropriate port. So, essentially, I freed up a useless device. There was a letter in the packaging stating that you should not return the device if you think parts are missing. This made me realize that the lack of detail was common. It didn't calm me down at all. I followed the instructions and emailed them pictures of what I received in my package and I think tomorrow I will know how they will deal with the missing part. Regardless, I'm not thrilled with a product that doesn't even come with all the parts when you order it, especially when you're paying a high price for the hardware. I will keep you informed.
