Taken out of the box, screwed it on and it worked perfectly for about 3 days. Then I smelled raw fuel and the engine started to overshoot. After about 2 days it got so bad that the engine wouldn't even idle. I pulled the power valve cap and sure enough it was full of fuel (it shouldn't be). I checked the diaphragm and it was fine so I put a new gasket on the power valve and reinstalled it. All the same. I pulled the cap back on and it was full of gas again. Bought a set of viton o-rings and sealed them, still leaking. Tried 2 other power valves with viton o-rings, still leaking. There is obviously a casting error, since I screwed on the original carburetor in the end and the truck simply does not run optimally due to the condition of the old carburetor. So, after 5 days of use, after having to call work and messing around with this poop for hours, I'm back where I started.
