Not recommended for carburetor

the old carburetor was removed for repairs but the engine ran fine. I installed this carburetor and couldn't get the engine to idle without dying. After cleaning the oil and adjusting the idle screws, it still has no luck, the engine just dies. I contacted support and they did everything except answer my questions and just repeat what is written in the instructions. Support didn't help at all.

The price compared to Quilty is very good.

Bought this carburetor for a 1979 Ford F-100 w/302 5.0L. Immediately bolted to the carburetor with a modification of the PCV hose. Position of the hose connection further on the driver's side. I didn't trust the carburettor settings before sending it out, so quickly set it up and started. Comes with intake carburetor gasket and air cleaner gasket. does not include the threaded rod that holds the air filter. must record some kind of all-thread. Very happy with the purchase!

I bought this to replace the original 2100 for my 68 XR7 Cougar

When you receive the carburetor it is as advertised, the carburetor is in the box. No instructions. There is no website to go to. without support. So it stinks a bit as I'm still trying to figure out how to wire it up. My engine starts, runs for a few seconds and then dies. While the 2100 I rebuilt and replaced this one worked fine when driving forward. I only bought this because my original had connection issues that caused the main valve to never close no matter how hard you adjusted it…

5 days of use and garbage

Taken out of the box, screwed it on and it worked perfectly for about 3 days. Then I smelled raw fuel and the engine started to overshoot. After about 2 days it got so bad that the engine wouldn't even idle. I pulled the power valve cap and sure enough it was full of fuel (it shouldn't be). I checked the diaphragm and it was fine so I put a new gasket on the power valve and reinstalled it. All the same. I pulled the cap back on and it was full of gas again. Bought a set of viton o-rings and…
