This works quite well. Easy mounting on the door. The drill wasn't too sharp, but it made a hole in the red oak. My observation is that there are no pilot holes in the jig for the screws that hold the hinge in place. All the others I've used have this feature. It's possible to line up the hinge and then mark and drill pilot holes, but it would be a lot easier if the pilot holes were part of the template. The conductor is some kind of metal and is quite durable. It's easy to assemble. Adjusting the distance from the edge is pretty easy, although you have to loosen two hex screws, make adjustments, and retighten the screws. In general, everything is fine, but I chose a jig with pilot holes.
