Have used this grill brush about 10 times and love it. I chose this type because it doesn't have bristles which are dangerous because they *break* off and can easily get into your food and potentially perforate your stomach or intestines. My grill has a round wire grate, typical of cheaper grills, and I hold the brush so the spiral turns line up with the bars of the grate; Press hard and it cleans the tops and sides pretty well. The scraper also works well and feels solid. (Haven't tried it on flat or cast iron grates.)
