Detailed review and instructions

I read a lot of reviews before buying something unprecedented so I'll try to be as detailed as possible. Installed on my Ram 1500**** 2006, supplemented with photos. before this photo in the snow as he nosed into the bones at 285 75 17s. according to the photo those on the dirt road *****. I don't think I reached my actual height of 2.5 inches, but I did measure on uneven ground prior to installation. The truck looks significantly larger from the front if your truck is bony. I recommend rear jack blocks with them as my truck is squatting now I'm guessing it's wear but after measuring the truck there seems to be a 1/4 to 3/8 inch height difference on each side (*imperceptible to the naked eye* ) and my shock absorbers/struts have less than 20,000 miles on them. you after the exchange. These strut spacers make the front end a little stiffer. Haven't done any alignment yet but am concerned about the pivot angle as the shop might refuse to align while I recommend adjustable/extended upper control arms, not only does an extended control arm reduce wear on the ball joint but makes installation much easier on the driver's side With great confidence I was able to fit my brackets without much trouble (* the instructions say the ABS line needs to be removed, which is incorrect, just unplug the guides on the driver's side and be sure to unbolt and disassemble the caliper before everything else needed for installation *), but on the passenger side for some reason I couldn't reach the ball joint enough to install the steering knuckle to mount the ball joint nut in the evenings support the forearm with the floor jack and maximize from the top control lever down. No spring compressor is required and DO NOT USE A SPRING COMPRESSOR / CHEAP SPRING COMPRESSOR, you will ask for hospitalization as I have tried before the spring even moves a little. into the knuckle consisted of raising the upper control arm far enough to touch the knuckle. Carefully thread the ratchet straps through the lower shock mount to the upper control arm while keeping the tension low, then using the 5/16" chain and load receptor, wrap the chain around the truck frame and thread it through the lowest hole in the lower control arm and crank until the ball joint does not fit far enough to install the nut, then before removing the chain and holder, tighten the ball joint to specifications, and then remove the chain ( *removal is much quicker than trying to remove the chain before tightening the spec*) After the assembly is complete and the wheels are on the ground, I have the distance from the outside edge of one tire to the outside edge of the other tire back and forth measured until I had a suitable measurement to within 1/8th. (*When adjusting the camber, either lock the steering wheel against movement or have someone hold it, or your steering wheel will be off center until you get to the shop for proper adjustment*) I will torque check all the removed parts /nuts/bolts per day or to make sure everything is secure. ***** Locktite is required for the studs which come with a gasket. ***** I would highly recommend this lift/leveling kit for the money its definitely not the best but its not bad at all for the money as i ordered from top suspensions before ordering and the ss level kit had better decals than real lift spacers. The only reason I have 3 stars is because the instructions were vague and the installation time isn't even 1.5 hours even if you've done it before and have all the tools you need. hang free remove the caliper remove the top three nuts remove the strut holding the ball joint from the upper arm remove the tie rod remove the lower strut bolt the lower arm is flexible enough to remove the strut mount strut and flip assembly instructions ***easier to assemble, if you move the tie rods at least a quarter outwards before assembly. Enjoy
