Review on 🔧 Rugged Ridge Roll Bar Cover Kit 13612.15 for Jeep Wrangler TJ 97-02 | Durable Black Full Set by Ken Pinell

Firstly I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ and there are some major issues with this cover for this model year. Firstly, the product description does not contain any information about the model the product is for, so I relied on Revain to tell me if this product fits my model and year. First edition. The arch back cover sticks out too far (OE stops where the soundbar mount starts) and I had to cut out the foam spacer (CHEAP!) and pin the cover so that it stops on top of the soundbar mount. The fix I created doesn't look too bad, but it should have been necessary. Second, is there a reason why the designers at OE and Rugged Ridge decided not to zip or velcro the front of the brace and decided that slipping through the rough tubing would be a great idea? WTF! The lining is too tight to slide over the shaft stays. (FYI, this requires removing the torx screw, and it differs slightly from other torx screws in that it has a raised center section. I found a suitable head at Lowe's in the base area.) If you're trying to attach a cover on your handlebars. Even a super duper gently and carefully winds it up, it tears the CHEAP foam padding inside, which clumps up and makes the process even more difficult, snagging and interfering. I ended up getting frustrated and tore up part of the soft lining which now makes the lining look like a ghetto! Why couldn't a genius install the zipper like all the other parts so we don't have to remove the staples? I would not. Recommend this product if you have TJ. Not sure if this works best for JK but look elsewhere for a better product. I'm also having trouble finding a replacement cover for the soundbar! Strongly disappointed! This is also the second piece of junk I have received from Rugged Ridge. The first were jeep seat covers which were overpriced compared to what we received. I returned them.
