I chose this device because my father recommended it to me after reading consumer reviews. I was satisfied with my review of Revain and decided to buy it. Setup couldn't be easier. I love that it comes with a quick start guide so I can start using it right away. Considering I vacuum almost every day I was amazed at how much dog hair, fur and crumbs it picks up. It slides easily under my sofa, under the kitchen island, tables, etc. My dog was very stressed when vacuuming. She barked at him, chased him, ran away from him, and at the end of the session tried to bite his sides. I really think that over time she will become less dangerous and relax. She does everything else. Interesting to note: I have a pet bird. The bird, also startled by our new roommate, shit on the floor and the vacuum ran away. The cleaning wasn't a disaster as the mess was small, but I could imagine that if the dog or cat got sick it would be a disaster, it would go unnoticed by humans immediately and then the scheduled cleaning session would begin. So maybe pet owners should sweep the room before they run away.
