Cool little chisel. Not exactly the size I'm used to, but I lost it years ago. I would have preferred a 1/4" thickness, which is closer to the mortar joints I've encountered. The only advice I can give is to remember that your puncher is your friend. It is much easier to clean a mortar joint which has largely been drilled with closely spaced holes. You can then just poke it hole by hole. But it also depends on why you are removing the solution.I usually had to do this to make a hole drilling into the walls but leaving the brick to reuse, like when I made holes for new doors or windows or my latest project, a dog door through a brick wall for my daughter's new pet.
